Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the SimpanLah app ("SimpanLah", "we") handles your information. SimpanLah is made by Settlez (YST Studio), a business in Malaysia, and we follow Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

In short: SimpanLah does not collect your personal data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account. We don't have a server, we don't use analytics or advertising, and we can't see your goals or savings.

1. What you enter in the app

Your goals, amounts, notes about where your money is kept, tabung history, buddy settings, quests and preferences are stored on your iPhone. If iCloud is on for SimpanLah, this data is synced through Apple's iCloud to your other devices signed in with the same Apple ID. iCloud is provided by Apple and covered by Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to it.

2. Photos

If you add a goal photo or a receipt photo, SimpanLah only accesses the photo you choose. It's stored with your goal on your device and in your iCloud, never sent to us.

3. Face ID, Touch ID and passcode

If you turn on App lock, iPhone checks your face, fingerprint or passcode. SimpanLah only receives a yes or no answer. We never see or store your biometric data.

4. Notifications

Reminders such as payday reminders, quests and the monthly check are scheduled on your iPhone. No notification data is sent to us.

5. Purchases

SimpanLah Premium is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment. We don't receive your card or payment details, only a confirmation from Apple that your subscription is active.

6. When you contact us

If you email us for support or feedback, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to improve SimpanLah, and we keep it only as long as needed for that.

7. What we don't do

We don't connect to your bank or e-wallet, or read your transactions.
We don't use analytics, tracking or advertising.
We don't sell or share your data.

8. Children

SimpanLah is suitable for all ages and does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

9. Your choices and rights

You can change or delete anything in the app at any time. Settings, then Erase all data on this device, removes everything on your iPhone. You can remove the iCloud copy in the iPhone Settings app (your name, iCloud, Manage Storage). Under the PDPA you can ask us about any personal data we hold about you (for example, support emails) by contacting us.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how SimpanLah handles data, we'll update this page and tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
